GRADD hosting Czech art exhibit

Throughout December, Green River Area Development District (GRADD) is hosting a special exhibition of photographs from the Czech Republic. The exhibit includes the work of Czech artists Štefan Berec, Vladimír Havlík, Tereza Hrubá, Jan Krtička, Jolana Lažová, and Jindřich Štreit.

These pieces were previously a part of the “Useful Symbiosis” exhibit this fall at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art, sponsored by Brescia University, Owensboro Community & Technical College, and Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic.

“The concept is about how one organism relies on another organism to function,” said OCTC art professor Monty Helm, who helped coordinate the exchange.
