One lane traffic on US 60 starting Thursday | Transportation

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on US 60 in Union County starting Thursday, September 13..

This work zone is to allow milling and asphalt paving along US 60 in eastern Union County from the KY 2019 intersection at mile point 16.79 and extending eastward to the Union-Henderson County Line at mile point 23.23.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers during daylight hours.  Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this $1.44 million highway improvement project.  Work in this area is expected to take about two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
